Christian Wellness for Weary Women | Functional Health, Vitality, Anxiety Bible Verse, Burnout, Midlife Crisis, Stressed, Fatigue
Do you wake up tired no matter how early you go to bed?
Do your emotions swing hard and fast and you can’t explain why?
Do you feel guilty for snapping at your kids… yet completely tapped out and running on fumes?
Do you wonder if your hormones, your faith, or your life is falling apart — and you’re the only one who can’t keep up?
You’re in the right place.
This podcast gives you what you’re desperate for: steady energy, emotional stability, clearer thinking, a calmer home, and a body that finally feels like it’s on your side again. You’ll learn how to recover from burnout at the root, regulate your hormones naturally, support your nervous system, and rebuild a life that doesn’t drain you.
Hi, I’m Cassie — HTMA practitioner, trauma-informed wellness coach, homeschooling and home-birthing momma of five, and wife to a seriously solid man.
Eight weeks postpartum, stuffed into a tiny cabin with four kids, I was bleeding every two weeks, crying for no reason, raging over everything, and feeling like the walls were closing in. I kept trying to convince my husband to understand. I even wondered if I’d hit perimenopause. Nothing changed.
The shift came when someone said, “Your estrogen is probably high.” That one sentence made me realize my body needed deeper help than anything I could Google or explain away. Once I started addressing the root — hormones, gut, minerals, stress load — everything changed. I went from crashing constantly and drowning in my emotions to having steady energy and a grounded, clear mind.
I understand your burnout on a level most coaches don’t because I’ve lived it — and I found what actually works.
If you’re ready to finally break free from constant fatigue, emotional overwhelm, and hormonal chaos…
To get steady energy, calm your emotions, and feel in control of your body and mind…
To finally have practical, faith-aligned strategies that actually work — no Googling, no guesswork, no endless supplements…
This podcast is for you.
So, grab your not-coffee, take the only quiet breath you’ll get today, and let’s dive in — because the “perfect moment” isn’t happening in this lifetime.

You’ve tried eating better, taking the supplements, fixing your hormones, praying more, and pushing yourself to stay consistent… and you’re still exhausted.
At some point, you start wondering if you’re the problem.
But what if you’re not failing… and your body just hasn’t been supported the right way?
In this episode, I’m breaking down what burnout actually is, why so many women stay stuck in it, and the nervous system piece that keeps getting missed in most health advice.
Because burnout isn’t just emotional or spiritual. It’s physical. And if your body doesn’t have the capacity to keep up, nothing you’re doing will stick long-term.
We’ll walk through the most common mistakes I see women make in burnout recovery, and how to start supporting your body in a way that actually leads to real energy, clarity, and stability again.
If you’ve been doing “all the right things” and still feel stuck, this episode will help you understand why—and what to do differently.

If you’re a Christian woman dealing with burnout, anxiety, and symptoms that don’t make sense, this episode is going to shift how you see your healing.
In Mark 5, the woman with the issue of blood didn’t just receive a physical miracle. Jesus walked her through a deeper process of healing that addressed her body, her story, and her identity.
And this is where most women are stuck.
You’ve been told to pray more.To take another supplement. To find the right anxiety Bible verse and push through.
But what if your body isn’t broken… it’s depleted? What if what you’re calling anxiety is actually your nervous system crying out for safety?
In this episode, we walk through 3 Bible-based steps to beat burnout and how they connect to functional health, emotional healing, and restoring your body’s ability to regulate.
We also talk about something most people won’t touch:how father wounds and identity issues can show up in the body, including irregular cycles and chronic stress patterns.
If you feel unseen, unheard, or like nothing you’ve tried is actually working, this will help you connect the dots.
Inside this episode, you’ll learn:
• Why burnout is not just emotional, but deeply physical• How anxiety is often tied to nervous system dysregulation• What Jesus was really doing when He called her “daughter”• The connection between identity, safety, and your physical symptoms• Why healing requires addressing body, soul, and spirit together
This is the same foundation I use inside Rooted & Restored Wellness, where we stop chasing symptoms and start rebuilding the body from the ground up.

What happens to a woman’s body when she spends years loving someone who struggles with addiction?
In this episode, I sit down with health coach Tara Little, host of the podcast Healthy Coping While Loving an Addict, to talk about the hidden toll addiction takes on the people around it. When someone you love is addicted, life often turns into walking on eggshells, trying to keep the peace, and carrying stress that never fully shuts off.
Over time, that chronic stress doesn’t just affect your emotions. It affects your nervous system, your energy levels, your hormones, and your overall health.
We talk about the patterns that often develop in these environments, including people pleasing and the fawn response, and why so many women who love addicts eventually find themselves burned out, overwhelmed, and physically depleted.
This conversation also explores something that often gets missed in addiction recovery conversations: what loving an addict does to your body and why caring for your own health is not selfish, it is necessary.
In this episode, we discuss:
• Why loving an addict can push your nervous system into survival mode
• How the fawn response and people pleasing develop in high stress homes
• Why chronic stress from addiction often leads to burnout symptoms
• Practical rhythms that help support your nervous system again
• Simple nutrition and lifestyle habits that help rebuild capacity
If you’ve ever loved someone who struggled with addiction, or you grew up in a home where addiction was present, this episode will help you understand what your body may have been carrying for years.
You are not weak.
Your body has been trying to survive.

Family conflict doesn’t just stay in your head. It settles in your body.
In this episode, I’m sharing what I learned the hard way after years of unresolved family conflict, intrusive thoughts, and the physical toll it took on my health. Avoiding hard conversations might feel like peace, but silence can quietly fuel burnout, anxiety, and exhaustion.
We’re talking about what it really means to “agree with your adversary,” how humility leads to reconciliation, and why acknowledging hurt (even when you didn’t mean to cause it) is often the key to healing.
You’ll learn:
Why silence isn’t the same as peace
How unresolved conflict affects your nervous system, thyroid, and energy
What to say when someone tells you they’re hurt
How to approach conflict without becoming defensive
If you’ve been carrying tension in your body from family conflict, whether it be recent or 20 years old, this episode will help you put words to it and take your first step toward resolution.
And if you’re feeling deeply burned out, join me for the free Burnout Recovery Workshop on March 23rd, where I’ll show you how to begin rebuilding your energy and stabilizing your body in a simple, practical way.

Is your fatigue, anxiety, or burnout really a mindset issue? Or is something deeper going on?
In this interview, I share why so many emotional and spiritual struggles women face, especially in motherhood, are rooted in physical depletion, not personal failure. Drawing from my own postpartum breaking point, I explain how years of under-fueling, chronic stress, and survival mode can keep the nervous system stuck and make healing feel impossible.
We talk about:
Why emotional and spiritual work often doesn’t stick when the body is depleted
What it actually means to be trauma-informed in functional wellness
How mineral imbalance, stress load, and postpartum depletion show up as anxiety and burnout
Why “just resting,” “praying more,” or “thinking differently” isn’t enough for real recovery
If you’ve done the inner work, tried to surrender it to God, and still feel exhausted and on edge, this conversation will help you understand what your body has been carrying and why healing has to be physical, too.
This episode is for the woman who’s tired of blaming herself and ready to address burnout at the root.

Your cycle is missing.Or irregular.Or unpredictable.
And you’ve been told it’s “just hormones.”
But what if it’s not just hormones?
In this real coaching call, I’m sharing a powerful breakthrough from a client who came to me with amenorrhea, anxiety, autoimmune flares, and a constant pattern of hyper-fixating on fixing herself.
Three months later, her cycle returned.
Not because we added another random supplement. Not because she tried harder. Not because she forced her body into submission.
It started when she uncovered something deeper; a father wound she didn’t think was affecting her.
In this episode, we talk about:
How unhealed childhood dynamics can keep your nervous system stuck in fight-or-flight
Why hyper-fixating on your health is often a trauma response
The connection between fear-based praying, self-sustaining pressure, and anxiety
How emotional healing can precede physical restoration
Why minerals matter — but aren’t the full picture
This isn’t about blaming your parents.
And it’s not about digging up pain for drama.
It’s about understanding that your body doesn’t separate emotional stress from physical stress. It carries both.
If you’re dealing with amenorrhea, irregular cycles, anxiety, or burnout and nothing seems to fully resolve it, this episode will challenge you to look deeper.
And if you’re ready to start rebuilding your nervous system and restoring your energy, join me for my live workshop on March 23rd.

Food can feel like one of the most exhausting parts of your day, especially when your kids are home all day, the pantry is always calling, and you’re already running on empty.
In this episode, I unpack what really creates food-related overwhelm in homeschool homes and why simply buying “healthy food” doesn’t automatically lead to a regulated, low-stress household.
We talk about:
Why constant snacking and grazing dysregulate both kids and moms
How lack of food structure fuels blood sugar swings, irritability, and decision fatigue
Why structure around meals is nervous system support, not control
How I personally handle pantry access, snacks, and meals in our home
When it actually makes sense to choose the “easy” option (yes, even pizza)
How to create food rhythms that support your body instead of depleting it
I also share the deeper question most moms are really asking beneath the surface:How do I hold structure when I’m already exhausted?
If you’re a mom who feels overwhelmed by food, tired of negotiating snacks all day, or unsure how to balance structure without creating control or rebellion this episode is for you.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating safety, predictability, and nourishment for your body and your home.

Valentine’s season can crank up the pressure to feel warm, happy, and connected… even when you’re running on fumes.
In this special Sweet On Me Summit presentation, I’m breaking down why joy often disappears in burnout—not because you’re “negative” or spiritually failing, but because your nervous system is stuck in survival and your body is physically depleted.
You’ll hear:
• Why joy doesn’t come back by trying harder (and why gratitude journals might not touch it yet)
• What “wired but tired” really means—and how it blocks pleasure
• The functional root causes I see all the time: mineral depletion, under-eating, blood sugar crashes, and chronic stress load
• How “pleasure” is actually a safety signal in the body (not indulgence or laziness)
• Simple micro-practices that rebuild capacity: pausing before meals, creating tiny nervous-system downshifts, and learning to sit without planning the next thing
If you’ve been telling yourself “I’ve lost my joy” and you don’t know how to get it back… this episode will help you stop blaming your mindset and start supporting your body—so joy can return quietly, one small shift at a time.

If you’re trying to “do all the right things” for your health but still feel stuck, depleted, or frustrated with your body, this episode is for you.
In this episode, I break down the five most common health mistakes I see women make that actually slow their progress—even when their intentions are good. These are patterns I see over and over in women who are desperate to feel better, lose weight, calm their nervous system, and finally see lasting change.
We talk about why pushing harder, restricting food, and piling on more protocols often backfire—and what your body actually needs instead: consistency, safety, and capacity.
Inside this episode, we cover:
Why punishing your body keeps it stuck in fight-or-flight
How restriction (even “clean eating”) can block healing
The hidden ways women unintentionally starve themselves
Why vague “fix me” goals don’t work—and what to do instead
How doing too much too fast overwhelms the nervous system
If your body feels tense, resistant, or like it’s holding on to weight, fatigue, or overwhelm, this episode will help you understand why—and how to start shifting that pattern.
Your body doesn’t need more intensity. It needs safety, consistency, and a slower path forward.
